Program Details

Trip Dates: March 14-20, 2025

Trip Overview: The EDGE - Global Impact Squad will be traveling to Greece to volunteer in a refugee shelter for youth. Students will work on small construction projects, educational workshops, and cross-cultural exchanges that improve health and education outcomes in the refugee shelters.  In addition to volunteering, students will also participate in fun and engaging cultural and enrichment activities around Athens including a tour of the famous Acropolis and Parthenon as well as a Saronic Islands boat tour.  Squads Abroad professional in-country teams (include Program Facilitators, Paramedics, Language Support Staff, and Private Drivers) handle all the program logistics and ensure group safety and an unparalleled experience.

Program Fees and Due Dates

Individual Program Fee:  $3770 per student (includes all in-country expenses, flights, and infrastructure project contribution)

Due Dates:

• Registration & $200 deposit to secure space due on October 15, 2024.
• Airfare $1870 due on December 15, 2024
• Program final balance $1700 due February 14, 2025.

Registration and Funding Link

Steps To Register: Go to the Registration and Funding page and click "Register" to Register and then "Fund" to make a Payment.

1.  When registering for the first time set up a MyBrigade account using the STUDENT NAME and the preferred email to receive email info. (usually parent).

2.  Once logged in with a MyBrigade account click 'Volunteer' again to complete and submit the full registration process. (passport info required)

3.  Once registered make a payment by clicking 'Donate' and select the student you want to make a payment for from the dropdown menu of registrants.
