Greece Summer Volunteer Internship Program
- Our internship program will allow you to volunteer with and learn from in-country legal and medical professionals in Greece and understand how Global Brigades contributes to sustainable development. This internship aims to teach interns how Global Brigade functions and why the non-profit has partnered with Greece.
- Successful applicants will take part in a busy 3 day schedule, meeting with lawyers from the Greek Council of Refugees and medical doctors working at refugee shelters, as well as visiting refugee shelters to meet the communities that Global Brigade works with.
- Program dates: Monday 14th September to Wednesday 16th September 2026. Interns will arrive in the evening on Sunday 13th September.
While the Internship to Greece is an exciting aspect of this role, interns will work closely with the Expansion and Development Directors throughout the year to establish Global Brigade societies and future volunteer programmes at their universities. Following the internship to Greece, interns will transition to the role of Campus Chairperson for their university, working to facilitate a brigade for the subsequent academic year.
As part of this internship, and in response to the hard and diligent work of our successful applicants, Global Brigade offers scholarship opportunities to contribute to the fundraising costs of the subsequent brigade. Please note, the volunteer internship is unpaid. To learn more about these, please attend the information session on Wednesday, 3rd December at 6pm. We will be hosting an additional information session on Thursday 18th December at 6pm.
